FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dermato-oncology, and can be used to determine the type of basal cell carcinoma (BCC). When detecting a superficial clinical form of BCC, the sensor is placed on the tumour with frequency of 75 MHz and when determining an anechoic zone in the dermis with an echogenicity value of 2, located directly under the epidermis, of an elongated shape, with clear lateral and lower boundaries, with depth of 200 to 500 mcm, a surface multicentric type of BCC is determined. If observing a nodular clinical form of BCC, the sensor is placed on the tumour with frequency of 30 MHz and when determining in the derma an anechoic zone with an echogenicity value of 2, which is elevated above the surface of unchanged skin, rounded or oval with clear lateral and lower boundaries, with thickness of 1,100 to 4,500 mcm, nodal type of BCC is determined. If observing an anechoic zone with hyperechoic point inclusions with echogenicity value 2, which rises above the surface of unchanged skin, rounded or oval with clear lateral and lower boundaries, with thickness from 1,100 to 4,500 mcm, the nodal type of BCC with cyst formation is determined. If observing a scleroderm-like clinical form of BCC, first, the tumour is examined with a sensor with frequency of 30 MHz, and then with a sensor with frequency of 75 MHz, and when determining a hypoechoic zone in the dermis with an echogenicity value of 4-5, with a cellular structure or a structure with vertical hyperechoic strips of a rounded shape, blurred boundaries, with thickness of 1,100 to 3,500 mcm, a micronodular type of BCC is determined. If observing a hypoechoic zone in the derma with an echogenicity value of 3-4, with a diffusely inhomogeneous structure, with kidney-shaped or saw-like processes, irregular shape, fuzzy boundaries, with thickness of 900 to 2,500 mcm, an infiltrative type of BCC is determined. If there is a hypoechoic zone in the derma with an echogenicity value of 8-10, which repeats the structure of an unchanged derma, elongated or irregular, with indistinct boundaries, with thickness of 700 to 1,500 mcm, a scleroderm-like type of BCC is determined.
EFFECT: method provides determining the degree of manifestation of echogenicity, its value, the structure of the detected tumour in the derma due to the use of ultrasound examination of BCC using sensors of different frequencies.
