FIELD: environmental monitoring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to environmental monitoring and can be used to assess and predict contamination of areas of chemically hazardous objects in emergencies. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that the concentration of chemically hazardous substances in the depositing media is measured, first, along a spiral from the source of the chemical accident at distance of 5-10 m from the source, then with an adaptive step depending on the ratio of the current concentration of chemically hazardous substances and the standard in the depositing medium, constructing a contamination map of depositing media, according to which the most dangerous zones are determined and the distribution of a secondary cloud of chemically hazardous substances is predicted, and concentration of chemically hazardous substances in depositing media is measured using one or more robotic systems.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining and predicting contamination zones during development of emergency situations at chemically hazardous objects and propagation of a secondary cloud of chemically hazardous substances.
