FIELD: ships and other floating facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, namely to autonomous unmanned underwater self-propelled vehicles, and can be used for investigation of water areas. Underwater glider comprises a hull, a buoyancy change system, a propeller, a stern unit with horizontal and vertical rudders and a device for releasing towed antennae. Propeller screw is arranged inside annular nozzle secured by horizontal tail fins on additional side hulls placed along the sides of the hull and attached to it. Stern horizontal rudders are attached to said horizontal fins, and vertical stern rudders are installed on additional side hulls. Devices for release of towed antennae are arranged in aft ends of said side hulls. Glider control system is made in the form of a matrix microprocessor operating according to a program, which includes both movement according to a preset program and movement in the "online" mode.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the glider design, as well as expanding the functional capabilities of the glider.
