FIELD: image processing.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining a face image with added lighting, performed by a computer device, comprising: obtaining an initial face image, generating a cropped face image based on the original face image, generating a depth map of the face, forming a three-dimensional grid representing the face of the user based on the depth map of the face, forming a virtual scene comprising said three-dimensional grid and a virtual camera and corresponding to the original face image, adding at least one virtual light source to a virtual scene, generating an additional illumination map by visualizing a virtual scene, generating a face image with added illumination based on the initial face image and the additional light map.
EFFECT: high accuracy of reconstructing rays of three-dimensional space for obtaining a more realistic image.
