FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the study or analysis of materials by determining their chemical or physical properties. Disclosed is a device for determining the amount of oxygen in water, which includes a sampler connected to a water line through a flow regulator, and a measuring element. At that, the flow regulator is made in the form of a shut-off valve, and the measuring element is in the form of a hollow branch connected through a sealed threaded connection to the sampler, for a glass ampoule with a chemical reagent colouring water in the sampler depending on the amount of oxygen in it, branch is made assembled, consisting of internal, equipped with tight connection thread, and external sleeves connected for fixation inside ampoule, outer sleeve inside on the side of the sampler is equipped with a collar made with possibility of tight interaction with the conical part of the ampoule, thin end of which protrudes towards the sampler equipped with a baffle made with possibility of interaction with the thin end of the ampoule and its breaking when the branch is screwed in, wherein outer sleeve is provided with, at least, one window for visual inspection of ampoule while sampler is provided with air vent tube for gas release.

EFFECT: invention is easy to manufacture and maintain due to the absence of complex structural elements, and also enables to accurately determine the oxygen content in the water sample irrespective of the flow rate of the liquid in the water supply system.
