SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for producing oxyhydrogen, which is capable of controlling content of hydrogen. Device comprises housing, executed with possibility of arrangement of oxygen production device, hydrogen production device, control module and power supply module. Power supply module is configured to supply power to each said device; oxygen production device is configured to separate oxygen from air and store oxygen for backup power supply; hydrogen production device is configured to produce hydrogen or oxyhydrogen for backup power based on water electrolysis principle; control module is configured to monitor and control the oxygen flow rate, detect the oxygen concentration and control the oxyhydrogen flow rate and hydrogen content to a preset range; and oxygen produced by the oxygen production device converges with hydrogen or oxyhydrogen produced by the hydrogen production device through a pipeline to the gas outlet of the oxyhydrogen production device, and then released after humidification or immediately released. Preset range of oxyhydrogen consumption is 0.03-7 l/min, of which hydrogen content is 0-100%; hydrogen production device and oxygen production device are made with possibility of independent or simultaneous operation depending on user needs. Invention also relates to a method of using the device.
EFFECT: device makes it possible to control content of hydrogen in oxyhydrogen.
