FIELD: radar.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar and can be used in radar systems with linear frequency modulation. Method of processing signals in radar systems with chirp further comprises multiplying the original signal by a wideband pseudo-random sequence of symbols in the set {-1, +1}, is processed by a low-pass filter, after which it is supplied to a low-frequency analogue-to-digital converter (ADC), which operates at a sampling frequency lower than double the maximum frequency of the signal itself, after which it is restored for further processing.
EFFECT: reduced requirements for memory volume and sampling frequency of ADC in radar system with linear frequency modulation.
