FIELD: pipes and hoses.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of applying lubricant on the inner surface of a pipe during drawing. Lubricant is fed by a pump and distributed to the working zone of the drawing mandrel and to the sections of the workpiece surface to be deformed. Liquid process lubricant Volgol 152 is used as a lubricant. Pipe is fed and driven into the drawing die, a hollow rod with a lubricating head is supplied to the pipe deformation zone, which consists of a housing, nozzles, a drawing mandrel and a seal located in the rear part of the lubricating head, said lubricant is supplied by a pump to the hollow rod, by means of which the lubricant enters the housing heads. Further, the nozzles supply the lubricant to the pre-deformation zone of the pipe so that the lubricant occupies the entire volume of the pre-deformation zone of the pipe. Seal and drawing mandrel are made with possibility of providing lubricant volume with excess pressure in pre-deformation zone, cooling of drawing mandrel due to lubricant circulation in occupied volume and removal of overheated lubricant layers from deformation zone.

EFFECT: uniform radial lubrication of inner surface of pipe and heat removal in zone of contact of mandrel and drawn material.
