SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for fixation in a certain position of a human body or its parts, in particular a head. Orthopaedic pad consists of a monolithic block with a central through hole. Monolithic unit has a flat base and a two-level working surface with angular projections at each level. Area of the lower level of the working surface is more than the area of the upper level of the working surface, and the angular projections of the lower level of the working surface protrude beyond the biconcave projections of the upper level of the working surface. At the same time, the upper level of the working surface is divided into a head area and a neck area, wherein the head area is arranged in the centre with walls ascending to the angular projections of the upper level of the working surface, and the neck area is made in the form of a crescent and is located under the head area. Also, the lower level of the working surface is divided into a shoulder zone and an arm zone, wherein the shoulder zone is made in the form of a crescent and is located under the neck zone, and the hand zone is made in the form of shark fins and is located on angular projections of the lower tier of the working surface. Head zone and the arm zone are made of low-density polyurethane foam with addition of cyclopentane in the ratio of polyurethane foam:cyclopentane of 7:3, and the neck zone and the shoulder zone are made of high-density polyurethane foam with addition of cyclopentane in the ratio of polyurethane foam : cyclopentane 9:1. Low-density polyurethane foam is softer than high-density polyurethane foam.
