FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in radio equipment for solving tasks of processing location information when detecting a target, determining its coordinates and motion parameters. For this purpose, the broadband location signal is processed after its conversion into a polynomial format (s(k,l,n)) in the form of functionally related pairs (k(n),l(n)) and consists in calculation of cross-correlation function of converted signal with reference signal also in polynomial format with further determination of transfer function of signal propagation channel and formation of new reference signal, which takes into account influence of propagation channel.

EFFECT: reduced level of errors, time and capacitance costs for information processing, increasing its reliability.
