FIELD: methods of assessing the state of a communication channel.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to evaluation of the state of a communication channel in a communication system. Disclosed is a device for estimating the state of the communication channel, which is connected to the output of the receiving device on the receiving side, wherein the output of the receiving device is connected to the first input of the adder, the output of the adder is connected to the input of the matched filter, first output of the matched filter, which is a feedback delay line, is connected to the second input of the adder, the second output of the matched filter is connected to the amplitude detector, the amplitude detector is connected to threshold devices, each of the threshold devices is connected to the second adder, the second adder is connected to the information output device and the second threshold device, the second threshold device is connected via a transmitting path to a transmitting antenna configured to transmit information on the need to correct the signal base on the signal base former on the transmitting side.

EFFECT: possibility of estimating noisiness of a communication channel and enabling transmission of information on the state of the communication channel to change the base of a broadband signal.
