SUBSTANCE: method involves UE receiving indication information transmitted by a base station, wherein the indication information comprises at least one TCI state ID corresponding to at least one code point; and then determining by UE device, that the TCI state corresponding to the at least one TCI state ID is a combined TCI state and/or a separate TCI state, and/or determining that the TCI state is applicable for uplink transmission and/or downlink reception.
EFFECT: providing a unified transmission configuration indication (TCI) indication, reducing signalling overhead and improving downlink control information (DCI) signalling reliability.
