SUBSTANCE: random access method includes: receiving resource configuration information transmitted by a base station; determining slice information for a target network slice that triggers random access; determining a first random access resource according to at least the resource configuration information and the slice information; initiation of random access based on the first random access resource. Resource configuration information is used to configure at least one of the following: a random access common resource; a given random access resource corresponding to at least one network slice; resource of two-stage random access; resource of four-stage random access; common resource of two-stage random access; common resource of four-stage random access; given resource of two-stage random access; given resource of four-stage random access.

EFFECT: enabling user equipment UE to determine a first random access resource in a resource configured with resource configuration information, which enables to quickly organize random access and obtain a desired slice service.
