FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, in particular to devices for stimulating photobiochemical synthesis of vitamin D3-cholecalciferol and can be used in making diodes and diode assemblies emitting in the ultraviolet range in medical devices. Disclosed is a device for stimulating photobiochemical synthesis of vitamin D3-cholecalciferol, which implements the method and contains: a housing and located inside the housing: power part - power supply; narrow-band UVB radiation source; narrow-band UVB radiation control section; module - a source of uniformly distributed narrow-band UVB radiation, located on the lower surface of the housing, comprising a plate. Narrow-band UVB radiation control section comprises: an input voltage and current control module; a module for controlling the power of the narrow-band UVB radiation and a module for adjusting the parameters of the effect of UVB radiation; wherein the plate transmits narrow-band monochromatic radiation of 450–520 nm. At that, plate is formed from polymer and coated with or suspension of particles of phosphor composition with Stokes shift, excited by narrow-band UVC radiation and emitting in UVB range, and anti-sedimentation or anti-settling additives, polymerised in a given volume, or a suspension of particles of a phosphor composition with an anti-Stokes shift, excited by monochrome narrow-band radiation in range of 450–520 nm, emitting in the UVB range, wherein the plate is transparent for UV radiation and isotropic throughout its volume and is made with possibility of direct contact with user’s skin.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides stimulation of synthesis of the required daily dose of vitamin D3-cholecalciferol with low intensity of narrow-band radiation in the UVB range, which enables to increase concentration of vitamin D3-cholecalciferol to the required daily norm.
