DEVICE FOR STIMULATING PHOTOBIOCHEMICAL SYNTHESIS OF VITAMIN D3 - CHOLECALCIFEROL Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61N5/06

Abstract RU 2730551 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, particularly to devices for stimulating photobiochemical synthesis of vitamin D3 - cholecalciferol in an organism. Disclosed is an apparatus for stimulating synthesis of vitamin D3 - cholecalciferol in an organism with narrow-band UVB radiation, which comprises a housing, a power section placed in the housing, a section for setting parameters and controlling narrow-band UVB radiation, a source of narrow-band UVB radiation and module of uniform distribution of narrow-band UVB radiation on irradiated surface, located in lower part of housing opposite to source of narrow-band UVB radiation, touch screen for visualization and input of operating mode of device, arranged on upper surface of housing. Said section for setting parameters and controlling narrow-band UVB radiation comprises voltage increase module, a module for controlling power of narrow-band UVB radiation and a module for setting parameters and controlling power of narrow-band UVB radiation, irradiation modes and controlling the narrow-band UVB radiation source, module for uniform distribution of narrow-band UVB radiation on irradiated surface is made in form of thin plate transparent for UVB radiation from transparent isotropic material. Uniform distribution module of the narrow-band UVB radiation is in direct contact with the skin.

EFFECT: invention provides stimulating synthesis of the required daily dose of vitamin D3 - cholecalciferol with low intensity of narrow-band radiation in the UVB range, which makes it possible to increase the concentration of vitamin D3 - cholecalciferol to the required daily rate.
