FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the oil refining and petrochemical industry, namely to preparation of a catalyst for increasing the output of light olefins in the process of catalytic cracking of vacuum gas oils of different quality. Proposed catalyst for increasing the yield of light olefins in a catalytic cracking process includes a phosphorus-modified MFI-type zeolite, an ultrastable zeolite Y and a matrix consisting of amorphous aluminosilicate, aluminium oxide and natural clay, wherein the MFI-type zeolite has a Si/Al ratio of 15 to 40, the ultrastable zeolite Y contains 0.7 to 4.0 wt.% of oxides of rare-earth elements, with the following content of components in the catalyst, wt.%: phosphorus-modified zeolite of MFI-type 7-20; ultrastable zeolite Y 10-17; natural clay 19-22; amorphous aluminosilicate 28-35; aluminium oxide 19-28. Proposed method of preparing a catalyst for increasing the yield of light olefins in a catalytic cracking process involves mixing an ultrastable zeolite Y and a phosphorus-modified zeolite of the MFI type with components of a matrix consisting of amorphous aluminosilicate, aluminium oxide and natural clay, spray drying of the obtained composition, followed by calcination, wherein the modification of the MFI-type zeolite is carried out by impregnation with phosphoric acid or urea phosphate with a Si/Al ratio of 15 to 40, ultrastable zeolite Y is obtained by ion exchange for cations of rare-earth elements and ammonium with content of oxides of rare-earth elements from 0.7 to 4.0 wt.%. with the following content of components in the catalyst, wt.%: phosphorus-modified zeolite of MFI type 7-20; ultrastable zeolite Y 10-17; natural clay 19-22; amorphous aluminosilicate 28-35; aluminium oxide 19-28.

EFFECT: creation of a high-efficiency catalyst to increase output of light olefins at high values of conversion of raw material.
