FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preparing a microsphere catalyst for cracking vacuum gas oil, involving mixing ultra stable zeolite Y in a cation-decationed form with a matrix or an ultrastable zeolite Y in a cation-decationated form and zeolite HZSM-5 with a matrix consisting of amorphous aluminosilicate, aluminum hydroxide and bentonite or kaolin clay, spray drying of the obtained composition with subsequent calcination to obtain a catalyst. Method is characterized by that aluminum hydroxide used is a hydrated product of thermo-chemical alumina activation, which is obtained by treating a product of thermo-chemical alumina activation, consisting of the following steps: hydration at temperature of 40–80 °C and ratio of solid:liquid 1:(6–10), ion exchange of sodium cations to cations of ammonium at ratio of ammonium and sodium equivalents 2:1, filtration of suspension, hydrothermal treatment at temperature 140–180 °C and solid:liquid ratio of 1:(6–10) in the presence of nitric acid, with the following content of components in the catalyst, wt%: zeolite NRZEU 18–20, zeolite HZSM-5 1–2, amorphous aluminosilicate 34–39, hydrated product of thermochemical activation of alumina 20–24, bentonite or kaolin clay 20–24 or zeolite NRZEU 18–20, amorphous aluminosilicate 34–39, hydrated product of thermochemical activation of alumina 20–24, bentonite or kaolin clay 20–24. Invention also relates to a catalyst obtained using said method.
EFFECT: creation of a microspherical catalyst for cracking vacuum gas oil and a method for its preparation, which ensures compliance with environmental requirements, completely eliminating sulphate wastes during production of this catalyst.
