FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to petroleum refining industry and specifically to a method of producing light olefins. Disclosed method of oil fractions co-cracking involves supply of oil fractions into a reactor with a fluidized bed of catalyst at temperature of 520–560 °C, wherein the catalyst used contains a phosphorus-modified zeolite ZSM-5 with an Si/Al ratio of 30 to 80 and a phosphorus content of 2.0 to 4.0 wt%, an ultra-stable zeolite HPZEY and a matrix consisting of amorphous aluminosilicate, aluminum oxide and bentonite clay, at following ratio of components in catalyst, wt%: phosphorus-modified zeolite ZSM-5 15–20; ultra-stable zeolite HPZEY 15–25; aluminum oxide 15–20; bentonite clay 15–20 and amorphous aluminosilicate 20–30.
EFFECT: method of joint cracking of oil fractions providing high output of light olefin hydrocarbons.
