FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to oil refining industry, namely to preparation of catalysts for cracking heavy oil fractions with high content of metals. Disclosed metal-resistant cracking catalyst includes an ultrastable zeolite Y in a cation-decationated form, a matrix consisting of kaolin clay, an oxide and an amorphous aluminosilicate containing magnesium oxide, and wherein matrix components used are modified aluminium oxide containing 1.0-1.5 wt.% phosphorus and 1.5-2.0 wt.% lanthanum, and modified amorphous aluminosilicate containing 1.0-2.0 wt.% magnesium oxide and 0.02-0.30 wt.% boron oxide, with the following content of components in the catalyst, wt.%: zeolite Y 25-30; kaolin clay 15-20; aluminium oxide 20-30; amorphous aluminosilicate 25-35. Proposed method of preparing a metal-resistant cracking catalyst involves ion exchanges for ammonium cations and rare-earth elements on zeolite Y, ultrastabilization of the zeolite, mixing the zeolite with a matrix consisting of kaolin clay, aluminium oxide and an amorphous aluminium silicate containing magnesium oxide, spray drying the obtained composition, followed by calcination and obtaining a catalyst, wherein the aluminium oxide is modified by treatment with a phosphoric acid solution to a phosphorus content of 1.0-1.5 wt.% and a lanthanum nitrate solution to a lanthanum content of 1.5-2.0 wt.%, amorphous aluminosilicate is modified by treatment with magnesium nitrate solution to content of 1.0-2.0 wt.% of magnesium oxide and boric acid solution to content of 0.02-0.30 wt.% of boron oxide.

EFFECT: creation of a cracking catalyst providing high conversion of heavy oil stock with high content of metals.
