FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer materials and relates to a multilayer protective film which is used on external parts of an automobile to prevent damage caused by abrasion and weather conditions. Film has a thermoplastic polyurethane layer and a surface coating layer, where the thermoplastic polyurethane layer contains one or more layers and the layer adjacent to the surface coating layer contains more than 30 wt.% of thermoplastic polyurethane, which is a reaction product obtained using hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI-TPU), and has thickness of 5 mcm or more, in which, when the thermoplastic polyurethane layer contains one layer, one layer also contains thermoplastic polyurethane, which is a reaction product obtained using dicyclohexyl-methane diisocyanate (H12MDI-TPU).
EFFECT: invention enables to create a multilayer protective film, which has excellent chemical resistance without changing the appearance and reducing adhesion strength, due to preventing swelling of the thermoplastic polyurethane layer when exposed to a chemical.
