FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structural elements of automated river and sea loading arms intended for loading and unloading of cryogenic products, and can be used as a control structure of outer arm of the loading arm. Outer arm control unit for the loading arm is composed of rack and pinion consisting of gear wheel and rack. Gear wheel is made with possibility of connection with secondary counterweight interconnected with outer arm of the loader arm through rod, and gear rack is made with possibility of connection with hydraulic cylinder. Gear wheel is also made with one row of teeth of non-involute profile, and the gear rack is made in the form of two guides connected by cylindrical bushings, which coincide with the profile of the cavity between the teeth of the gear wheel.
EFFECT: enlarging the arsenal of control units of the outer arm of the loading arm, having small dimensions, higher torque and absence of the need for lubrication as compared to the state of the art.
