SUBSTANCE: in the data transmission method, the PPDU physical layer protocol data unit signalling field is generated and the signalling field is sent in the first frequency domain segment, where the channel bandwidth for PPDU transmission includes at least two frequency domain segments. Signalling field is transmitted in a first frequency domain segment and comprises a common field and a user-specific field. Resource block allocation subfield in the signalling field indicates a resource unit (RU)/multi-resource unit (MRU) contained in the channel bandwidth for transmitting the PPDU and indicates the number of user fields corresponding to the resource unit RU/MRU, which is occupied by the RU/MRU and which is allocated to the station which has suspended service in the first frequency domain segment. Signalling fields are transmitted in the first frequency domain segment, wherein the number of user fields indicated in the resource block allocation subfield corresponding to the RU/MRU not allocated to the station which has suspended service in the first frequency domain segment is less than the number of user fields, in fact, corresponding to RU/MRU, not allocated to station, suspended service in first segment of frequency domain.
EFFECT: reduction of signalling field overhead costs.
