SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of: generating, by a network device, a single-user physical layer protocol data unit (SU PPDU); and transmitting, by the network device, the SU PPDU to the station, wherein the bandwidth for transmitting the SU PPDU exceeds 20 MHz, and the bandwidth comprises a first sub-band and a second sub-band, the first sub-band carries a first extremely high throughput signaling field content channel (EHT-SIG) of the PPDU SU, and the second transmission sub-band carries a second EHT-SIG field content channel; wherein the overflow field of the universal signal (U-SIG) transmitted in the first (i-1) information bits of the first content channel is the same as the overflow field of the U-SIG, transmitted in first (i-1) information bits of second content channel, wherein i^th information bit to j^th information bit of first content channel are transferred user field, where i and j are positive integers, and 1 < i < j.

EFFECT: transmitting a larger amount of information through the signaling field in a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU).
