FIELD: shaping or joining of plastics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to blown films made from terpolymers. Disclosed is a blown film made from an ethylene-propylene-1-butene terpolymer comprising a) units derived from ethylene in amount of 0.8 mol.% to 2.8 mol.% with respect to the total amount of the terpolymer; b) units derived from propylene in amount of 91.6 mol.% to 95.8 mol.% with respect to the total amount of the terpolymer; and c) units derived from 1-butene, in amount of 3.4 mol.% to 5.6 mol.% with respect to the total amount of the terpolymer, wherein units derived from ethylene, propylene and 1-butene are 100 mol.%, and the total amount of units derived from ethylene and 1-butene ranges from 4.5 mol.% to 8.0 mol.%, and the molar ratio of links derived from 1-butene to links derived from ethylene is from 1.5 to 5.0. Terpolymer has 2,1-regiodefects in amount of 0.20 mol.% to 0.45 mol.%, determined by 13C NMR analysis, melt flow index MFR2 (230 °C/2.16 kg), measured in accordance with ISO 1133, in range of 1.5 to 4.5 g/10 min, and a melting point Tm, measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), corresponding to equation Tm < [150−1.6*(defects)−0.14*(defects)2] °C, where defects denote the sum of links obtained from ethylene, links obtained from 1-butene, and 2,1-regiodefects, all values in mol.%. Film produced by extrusion blowing has a temperature of the beginning of welding below 117 °C. Invention also discloses an ethylene-propylene-1-butene terpolymer and a composition for producing said film.

EFFECT: disclosed film produced by extrusion blowing has low temperature of the beginning of sealing, turbidity and content of hexane-extracted substances with satisfactory melt flow index and high impact strength.
