FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to an assembled autoinjector. Autoinjector assembly comprises a body, a syringe assembly, a protective needle casing, a spring holder, a locking element and a plunger. Body has a proximal end and a distal end. Syringe assembly is located near the proximal end of the body and is configured to store a predetermined amount of the drug to be injected through the needle. Needle shield is arranged around the syringe assembly so that a part of the needle shield can protrude from the body in the initial state and be retracted inside the body when said part is pressed onto the injection site. Spring holder is located near the distal end of the body and is configured to hold the dose delivery spring in a compressed state. Locking element is located inside the spring holder and is configured to hold the spring holder in a locked state relative to the body. Plunger is engaged with the spring holder and is movable in the direction of the syringe assembly when the spring holder is unlocked, wherein it is possible to vary the position of engagement of the plunger with the spring holder to control the distance of the plunger stroke inside the body depending on the preset volume of the drug in the syringe assembly. Plunger has threads made on the inner surface. Spring holder comprises shaft engaged with plunger thread turns. Plunger is made with possibility of being screwed into the shaft to control the distance of the plunger stroke inside the body in order to introduce the drug into the injection point depending on the preset volume of the drug in the syringe assembly. When retracted, the protective cover of the needle is configured to push the locking element further into the spring holder, unlocking the spring holder relative to the body so that the plunger moves towards the syringe assembly for introducing the drug into the injection site.
EFFECT: invention is characterized by an integrated and effective approach to dispensing drugs of various volumes into the patient's body without the need for the user to make any additional changes in the autoinjector design, wherein the autoinjector is ready for direct use by any user.
