FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drug delivery devices, and more specifically to an autoinjector device for drug delivery. Autoinjector device (100) comprises syringe assembly (206), plunger (216) and locking element (214). Syringe assembly (206) comprises needle (222) configured to release medications from syringe assembly (206) and cylinder (224) configured to hold medications and connect to needle (222), wherein there is a possibility of directing the drug flow outside from cylinder (224) through needle (222). Plunger (216) is located coaxially relative to cylinder (224) and is made with possibility of reciprocating movement inside cylinder (224) for drug release. Locking element (214) is configured to engage with plunger (216) to retain plunger in proper position relative to cylinder (224). At that, it is possible to adjust the position of plunger (216) relative to cylinder (224) to change the volume of drugs to be released from cylinder (224), wherein plunger (216) can be adjusted by engaging with plunger (216) in one of the positions along length (L) of plunger (216). Autoinjector device (100) can be reused for different types and doses of drugs without making any changes to the subcomponents of autoinjector device (100). In particular, this can eliminate the need to make different subcomponents of autoinjector device (100) for administering different types and doses of drugs. Besides, this significantly reduces the total cost of making autoinjector device (100).
EFFECT: autoinjector device (100) according to the present invention is flexible in implementation, compact, cost-effective, convenient and has a wide range of applications.
