FIELD: cleaning.

SUBSTANCE: cleaning device (1) for cleaning surface (10) comprises cleaning nozzle (20) configured to access surface (10) to be cleaned and performing a cleaning operation on surface (10), wherein that cleaning head (20) comprises at least one rotatable brush (21) including flexible brush elements with end parts to contact surface (10). Cleaning device (1) further comprises force-actuated mechanism (50, 60), which responds to a change in user force on cleaning device (1), acting to press cleaning nozzle (20) to surface (10), when cleaning nozzle (20) is in working position on surface (10), and which is configured to cause change of value of at least one parameter of cleaning device (1), thereby providing more intuitive handling of cleaning device (1).

EFFECT: method of providing more intuitive handling of the cleaning device, as described above, at least when it comes to removing stains, which, evidently, require additional wiping of the surface to be cleaned.
