FIELD: construction; performing operations.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to road surfaces and can be used in production of glass microspheres as glass-reflecting elements of road markings. Method for synthesis of glass light-reflecting spherical materials involves grinding of scrap lead crystal in a centrifugal-planetary mill for 15 minutes, averaging in mixer for 15 minutes of crushed lead crystal and metallurgical alumina at ratio of 2:3 wt.pts, forming granules with size of 7.0-8.0 mm, which are fed into a screw feeder, then they are fed into a plasma burner, where melt drops are formed and they are cooled in an exhaust flow of plasma-forming gas and microspheres are obtained.

EFFECT: faster synthesis and higher quality of the end product, particularly high microhardness of glass light-reflecting spherical materials (glass microspheres).
