FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: asynchronous machine is equipped with additional unit installed axially on common shaft and consisting of two axial magnetic conductors having stator and rotor parts separated by working air gap with stator and rotor windings located on them. Stator winding of the additional unit contains two in-series connected parts located on axial components of its stator magnetic conductor, and is shifted relative to the machine stator winding by the angle deg. el. in direction of rotation and is connected in parallel with it. Rotor winding of the additional unit contains two parts corresponding to its stator winding, one of which is connected in series with the rotor winding of the machine, and the second part of the rotor winding of the additional unit is short-circuited.

EFFECT: elimination of mechanical switching at introduction of additional electromotive force of sliding frequency into rotor circuit.
