SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to ophthalmology. Full-thickness blepharotomy is performed: the skin is dissected along the crease of the upper eyelid, the orbicular muscle of the eye and the tarzoorbital fascia are opened. Aponeurosis of a muscle lifting an upper eyelid is separated and dissected from a tarsal plate; an external horn of an aponeurosis of the muscle lifting an upper eyelid is transected; an upper tarsal muscle together with a conjunctiva is dissected, with the exception of conjunctival bridge 3 mm wide at the inner edge of the limb. After full-thickness blepharotomy, the spacer from alloplant for eyelid repair is thinned and cut out with height of 1 mm more than the preoperative upper eyelid retraction value, the spacer is turned with a smooth surface towards the eye surface, its lower edge is sutured to the tarsal plate, upper eyelid. Interrupted sutures are applied on a circular muscle of the eye, and the skin is closed with a continuous suture. In a particular case, in the presence of deformation of the upper eyelid contour in the external one-third, it is compensated by changing the shape of the spacer.

EFFECT: method enables to reliably lengthen the upper eyelid by a given value, providing the formation of its contour, improve visual control at the stage of creating the alloplant, at the same time does not require observation of restoration of position of upper eyelid and its modelling by means of traction suture, massage or by stretching of upper eyelid by eyelashes.
