FIELD: heat exchange.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of disassembling a heat exchanger. Disclosed is a method of disassembling a heat exchanger used in a nuclear plant, which comprises a heat exchange tube and a cylindrical housing for placing the heat exchange tube. Heat exchange tube has an arched part and parts of a straight pipe passing parallel to the central axis of the housing from both ends of the arched part. Stage of placing the heat exchanger on the support frame so that the central axis of the housing passes in the horizontal direction. Stage of the heat exchanger part insertion by means of the support frame movement from the side of the arc part into the dismantling chamber containing the holding device and having the radiation screening function. Stage of withdrawal of the arc part of the heat exchange tube from the housing. Stage of dividing the arc part along the separation position by dividing into two parts with the help of a circular saw in the dismantling chamber. Step of bringing circular saw into contact with arc part in new position relative to separation position. Stage of cutting the arc part into short pipes on both sides of the separation position, wherein the arc part is divided and cut by a circular saw in the dismantling chamber.

EFFECT: invention enables to reduce leakage and the value of the effect of radioactive substances and can effectively remove the arc part of the heat exchange tube with space saving.
