FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: dust catcher comprises dust collecting conveyor and, at least, one wall to prevent backflow. Said wall is secured on flow element to reduce flow section cross-section. Flow section is formed by flow element downstream. Cross-section are on downstream wall side end makes half the cross-section area of flow element. One part of the wall is inclined to air flow direction. Dust catcher includes adapter to be fitted on tube arranged on machining device. Dust collecting conveyor is attached to adapter. Adapter comprises container inner side support. Chips are forced by air flow generated by rotary tool into dust collecting container. Device to prevent backflow is arranged inside flow element and comprises, at least, one wall. Said wall is arranged cantilever from flow element and perpendicular to flow direction. Said wall features V-like shape. Wall comprises one or more walls. Wall parts extend from flow element inner wall toward each other. Wall includes tubular element to make passage with cross-section area decreasing downstream. Tubular element has wall part with multiple vent holes.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
