SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Needle protection device for a medical injection device comprises an elongated portion of a sleeve having a longitudinal axis and comprising a cannula extending from the elongated portion of the sleeve along the longitudinal axis. Tubular safety element is made with possibility of movement along longitudinal axis relative to elongated part of sleeve. Safety element comprises a contact surface for establishing a pressing contact with the injection area. In the initial position of the needle protector, the contact surface is located at a greater distance from the elongated part of the sleeve along the long axis than the cannula tip. Tubular detachable element is located with possibility of extraction in safety element in initial position so that detachable element can move along longitudinal axis together with safety element. Detachable element comprises at least two locking parts. Spring element presses the safety element in the distal direction relative to the elongated part of the sleeve so that the contact surface is at a greater distance from the elongated part of the sleeve along the longitudinal axis than the cannula tip when the contact surface is not in pressed contact with the injection area. Safety element is movable to the injection position when the contact surface is brought into pressed contact by the injection area. In the injection position, the cannula tip is located at a greater distance from the elongated part of the sleeve along the longitudinal axis than the contact surface. Detachable element is removed from the safety element and thus is divided into at least two locking parts when the contact surface is released from the pressed contact by the injection area, wherein the separated locking parts block the return of the safety element to the injection position when the safety element is moved to the final position. In the final position, the contact surface is located at a greater distance from the elongated part of the sleeve along the long axis than the cannula tip. What is disclosed is a medical injection device comprising a protective device.
