FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of forming a metal roll containing metal coils with a suspension coating, and to said metal rolls. Said method involves bringing the surface of the metal substrate into contact with the suspension to obtain a coated metal substrate. Winding of said coated metal substrate at winding temperature of 10 °C to 200 °C to form a metal roll containing a plurality of spiral coils with a suspension coating. Said suspension and coating obtained therefrom contain alloying agent and metal oxide and/or metal transfer activator. Said suspension coating is applied in form of wet film with thickness of 50 mcm to 500 mcm, relative standard deviation is 10% or less. Before winding said metal substrate, the suspension coating is not dried or dried to obtain a dry film with thickness of 50 mcm to 250 mcm, the relative standard deviation being 10% or less of the average thickness of the dry film.
EFFECT: obtaining a roll with a coating that can withstand a bending force into the arch.
