FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology, and can be used for differential diagnosis of pulmonary artery thromboembolism (PATE) and acute inferior myocardial infarction involving right ventricle in patients with right ventricular shock. Doppler echocardiography is performed to determine the transmitral blood flow rate E and the mitral valve annulus displacement rate e'. Calculating the ratio of the determined speed indicators E/e'. At values of E/e' more than 10, diagnoses acute inferior myocardial infarction with involvement of the right ventricle. At values of E/e' of 10 and less, PATE is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method enables fast and accurate diagnosis of PATE or acute lower myocardial infarction involving right ventricle in patients with right ventricular shock by determining E/e'.
