FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ceramic materials for medicine: traumatology, orthopaedics, maxillofacial surgery and surgical dentistry, namely materials for bone defect filling. Method of making porous granules from calcium phosphates is developed. For moulding granules, a suspension of pre-synthesized calcium phosphate powder is prepared with 5% aqueous solution of sodium alginate in ratio of 1 to 5.0 ml of sodium alginate solution per 1 g of powder followed by dropwise introduction of suspension into 5% aqueous solution of calcium chloride and separation of formed granules, which are further sintered at temperature of 900-1,000 °C for 2-4 hours at a rate of temperature rise of 5 deg/min and holding at temperatures of 300, 600, 850 °C from 30 to 300 minutes for 40-60 minutes.
EFFECT: increased porosity of granules, as well as increased rate of bioresorption under physiological conditions in liquids simulating body fluids.
