METHOD FOR PRODUCING POROUS BIOCERAMIC WOLLASTONITE Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC C04B35/22 A61L27/12 C04B35/624 C04B38/06

Abstract RU 2743834 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in implant surgery, in traumatology, orthopedics, dentistry and other fields of medicine for the restoration, replacement and reconstruction of damaged hard tissues in a living organism. The proposed method includes the preparation of an amorphous composite material containing an amorphous mixture of dispersed hydrated calcium silicate and hydroxyapatite from calcium- and silicon-containing solutions by a sol-gel method using a latex template, the resulting material is washed, pressed and sintered. Pressing at a pressure of 24-25 MPa is carried out in a vacuum simultaneously with sintering, while sintering is carried out using electric pulse heating at a rate of 160-170°C / min to a temperature of 800-900°C with exposure at the reached temperature for 4.5-5,0 min. Electric pulse heating is provided in the mode of low-voltage pulses at a current strength of 470-500 A and a voltage of 1.9-2.0 V. The sintered ceramic material is allowed to cool, and then it is heated in an air atmosphere at a rate of 4.5-5.0°C / min. up to 800-850°С and kept at the reached temperature for 4.5-5.0 minutes.

EFFECT: increase in the strength properties of calcium phosphate bioceramics based on wollastonite by increasing the homogeneity of its porous structure, enhancing its biologically active properties by lowering the temperature and reducing the time of thermal action on the processed material while reducing the time and labor costs for the method.
