FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of new composite materials for medicine, namely traumatology and orthopedics, maxillofacial surgery and surgical dentistry, and can be used for production of composite materials intended for filling of bone defects. Disclosed is a composite material containing sodium alginate and a mixture of calcium phosphates, characterized by the following ratio of components, wt. %: sodium alginate - 90÷80, mixture of calcium phosphates - 10÷20. Sodium alginate is 2 % aqueous suspension, and the total weight of the mixture of calcium phosphates contains: hydroxyapatite (HA) - 20 %, brushite - 30 %, octacalcium phosphate (OCP) - 50 %. Method of producing said composite material involves preliminary preparation of 2 % aqueous suspension of sodium alginate, adding to the resulting suspension a powder mixture of calcium phosphates in the form of HA - 20 %, brushite - 30 %, OCP - 50 % in amount of 10÷20 wt. % of total weight of composite material, mixing during time T1 = 10÷15 min by means of magnetic mixer and foaming. Then, the foam is put into the crucible and dried at temperature of 200 °C for time T2 = 20÷30 minutes.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining a more bioresorbable and porous material.
