FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of detecting particles in a fluid medium with subsequent analysis of their size and can be used in those fields of science and technology where analysis of the microstructure of emulsions, suspensions and sols is required, for example, in petrochemical, pharmaceutical and food industries, medical research and biochemistry, meteorology, as well as in systems for monitoring and protecting the environment. Method for analysis of variance of particles in a fluid medium involves using a neural network with binary convolutional layers, in which for each convolutional layer matrices of input features corresponding to their input channel are filtered by componentwise multiplication by each of the basic templates to obtain matrices, to which the sigmoidal nonlinear function is applied componentwise, after which all matrices with trained linear coefficients are added componentwise.
EFFECT: high accuracy of measurements, as well as faster operation while reducing the amount of required computing resources.
