FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a novel amino ester compound of formula (I) or a compound which is 2-[(1,1-dimethyl-4-methylsulfanyl-4-oxo-but-2-ynyl)methylamino]ethyl acetate, as well as to their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, which can be used as a drug for treating or preventing cancer. In formula (I) X represents S; R1 is a linear or branched (C1-C7)alkyl; R2 is CHR5CHR6OR4 or (CHR5)vOR4, is selected from interval from 2 to 4; R3 is a linear or branched (C1-C7)alkyl, and R4-R6 have the values given in the claims.
EFFECT: obtaining molecules which induce the maximum level of apoptosis in tumor tissue and damage healthy body tissues as minimally and reversibly as possible.
