SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the having antibacterial properties silver-containing tissues production method. Silver-containing tissue of vegetable origin production method involves the fabric treating with the silver nitrate, reducing agent and compound containing the NH4+ group mixture aqueous solution, with subsequent tissue separation, washing and drying, wherein the aqueous solution is prepared by adding into the 0.05–0.1 M silver nitrate aqueous solution of vanadyl sulfate hydrate as the reducing agent, taken in equimolar amount relative to the silver nitrate, and 10–45 ml of 25 % ammonium hydroxide solution to pH of 7.0–10.0 as the NH4+ group containing compound, and the fabric treatment taken in the weight ratio of 2:1 with respect to the silver nitrate is carried out at room temperature for 1–10 minutes.

EFFECT: silver-containing tissue of vegetable origin production method provides reduction in the process temperature and reduction in the process duration, as well as increase in the silver particles fixation on the tissue surface after washing.
