FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used in technology of growing young cattle. During the transit period cows for 15 days before calving and 5 days after calving in addition to the main diet once a day are fed with a probiotic based on bifidus bacteria Zoonorm in amount of 100 doses orally, providing production of colostrum having probiotic properties, which is fed to newborn calves for 6 days 2 times a day in portions from 2.0 to 3.5 kg at regular intervals.
EFFECT: preservation of livestock of newborn calves is provided due to increase of animal organism resistance.
