FIELD: sawing devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sawing devices, particularly, to sawmills for cutting logs. Band sawing machine comprises a body unit consisting of a base of the machine, which is located in a vertical position, a support plate provided in the base, and an outlet hole passing through the support plate. Installed in the machine body, the transportation unit includes a transportation socket passing through the outlet opening from the front to the back, a conveyor passing around a transportation seat, used for transportation of logs, and a drive group of the conveyor, which drives the conveyor. Pressing unit located in the transportation unit includes a limiting plate and a pressing element connected to it. Limiting plate is installed on transportation seat. Cutting unit is connected to the body unit and includes the first cutting disc installed on the support plate, the first saw band surrounding the first cutting disc and partially corresponding to the outlet hole, and the first main drive group connected to the first group of cutting discs. Besides, the first main drive group is made with the possibility of controlling the rotation speed of the cutting discs.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of cutting machine at preservation of flatness and smoothness of cut wood.
