FIELD: armoured or armed vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: protection device relates to additional protection and armouring of combat vehicles of "Tor" family against various types of weapons. Protection device comprises panels from armoured steel fixed on the chassis body with a gap from the body, armour panels from ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene, which are fixed on the rotary body of the antenna-trigger device with a gap from the body. Protection device also includes a cover made of anti-splinter cloth and an anti-drone mesh installed above the shaft of the antenna-launching device, which is fixed on the antenna. Armour panels are made detachable and fixed through bosses providing a gap between the body and the panel.
EFFECT: improved protection of crew and radioelectronic equipment from fragments and damaging elements of missiles.
