FIELD: armour.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to armoured panel design. Universal bulletproof, splinterproof armour panel consists of a layer of high-strength titanium alloy BT6 in the form of a spatial hollow mesh with heat treatment of the obtained shape of the article. On top of it there are additional layers of a protective layer of aramid fabric and Kevlar. Free space of the hollow mesh of the titanium alloy BT6 is filled with ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene with the addition of single-wall carbon nanotubes.
EFFECT: increased specific strength at minimum weight of armoured panel, reduced weight of armoured panel structure.
