FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for damping vibration loads from an object located above or under a vibration isolator. Vibration isolator comprises a base with a hole for a rod, a platform, elastic damping rods, a limiting element made of elastomer in the form of a bushing installed on the base and contacting along the outer perimeter with resilient damping rods. At that, it is equipped with a cage; the platform is made fixed with a hole for the rod and is fixed at a calculated distance on the base. Upper ends of the resilient damping rods are rigidly fixed in the cage, and the cage is installed on the platform and is equipped with a device for adjusting its distance from the platform. Platform and the base are equipped with coaxial centralizers for the rod with formation of a kinematic pair. At the same time the upper and lower ends of the rod are brought out beyond the limits of the base and the holder for connection of the source of vibration loads, and in the middle part the rod is equipped with a collar as a support of the rod on the upper end of the limiting bushing from elastomer.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of vibration isolation.
