FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vibration isolator contains a movable platform, a base, elastic-damping rods discretely installed and rigidly fixed at one end in the base. Inside the elastic damping rods there is a restrictive element made of elastomer. The restrictive element is made in form of a cylindrical rod, its upper and lower ends are rigidly fixed, respectively, in the movable platform and in the base. At the same time, the restrictive element is placed inside the resiliently damping rods with a calculated gap uniform along the perimeter and is made protruding from them by an amount not less than the calculated maximum settlement from static and dynamic loads from the vibration-insulated unit. In addition, the free ends of the resiliently damping rods are covered by a ring that is elastic in radial directions.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of vibration isolation of objects from both spatially directed and unidirectional vibration and shock loads, as well as versatility and ease of adaptation to units of any mass and dynamism.
