FIELD: petrochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to petrochemistry and more specifically to a method of fractionating a mixture of liquid hydrocarbons by membrane filtration with extraction of a higher molecular weight fraction of hydrocarbons, and can be used for processing crude oil, particularly for deasphalting. Disclosed is a method for fractionation of a mixture of liquid hydrocarbons by filtration. Membrane material used is a copolymer of acrylonitrile with one or two comonomers (MN), with a fraction of acrylonitrile links of 90-99.9 %, molecular weight Mw 40,000-313,000 g/mol and Mw/Mn 1.72-3.5, where MN is selected from the series – methyl acrylate, acrylic acid, vinyl acetate, methyl methacrylate, itaconic acid, 2-acrylamide-2-methyl-propane sulphonic acid, acrylamide, 2-methyl-5-vinylpyridine.

EFFECT: described approach enables to achieve high values of permeability of the target fraction of hydrocarbons – crude oil (0.38-14 l/(m2⋅h⋅atm)) compared to prototype (0.12 l/(m2⋅h⋅atm)), and the fraction of retention of the fraction of hydrocarbons with the required molecular weight of 74-99.9% compared to prototype (35-67%).
