FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to resuscitation and dietology, and can be used in treating nutritional deficiency in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome of mild, moderate and severe degree. An enteric diabetic mixture containing a metabiotic complex and β-glucans, in amount of 2,000 millilitres and rate of 83.3 millilitres per hour, is introduced into the nasogastric tube for 24 hours, with a mild degree from 1 to 9 days, a moderate degree from 1 to 11 days, and a severe degree from 1 to 19 days.
EFFECT: method enables increasing the effectiveness of treating intestinal dysbiosis, nutritional and multiple organ failure while reducing the risk of secondary infections in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome by improving the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract and reducing energy consumption, significant increase in blood plasma albumin, transferrin, absolute lymphocyte count, as well as decrease in glucose level.
