FIELD: microwave equipment.
SUBSTANCE: high-power microwave absorber-attenuator, cooled with liquid with 40 dB tap, containing a short-circuited section of a coaxial waveguide, the inner conductor of which is made of a ceramic material with a resistive carbon absorbing layer, providing the possibility of obtaining the level of dissipated power of 15 kW while ensuring the voltage standing wave ratio of not more than 1.2 in the operating frequency range of up to 1000 MHz, with wave impedance of 50 Ohm. At the same time in the absorber design there provided is removal of part of electromagnetic radiation power with attenuation of minus 40 dB, intended for measurement of input power value.
EFFECT: introduction into the structure of a high-power microwave absorber-attenuator of a liquid-cooled element for removal of part of electromagnetic energy with attenuation of minus 40 dB for its control and measurement.
